MDT Introduces New Updates to the 'Glass Push-button II Smart' and their 'Push-button Smart 86' series keypads.

What makes these MDT keypads an attractive choice?

The II Smart features a sleek glass design in black or white, with a capacitive touch sensor. While the 86 series has a classic plastic design in white, with a clickable and moving button. Both versions are available with or without a temperature sensor and include standard operation units and a Central Operation Unit. These keypads are a great choice for both commercial and domestic projects.

What’s new?

The latest updates bring a range of innovative new features to enhance the user experience. Among them is a new group control system, offering long and extra-long keystrokes for greater control. Additionally, a new mapping function makes it easier than ever to assign functions to your system.

The information display area has also been extended to include up to three lines and six measured values, providing users with comprehensive data briefly.And to top it all off, modern new icons have been added to the system, making navigation and operation even more intuitive.

Lastly, a patch function with a comprehensive range of functions has been introduced, providing users with greater flexibility and control over their KNX system.

You are now in control to update your Core servers with this new release: stay on the fast track, schedule the update, or wait on the automatic Core update after one month.

Say hello to a lot of new third-party integrations like Gude, Steinway Lyngdorf and Sonance!

What does this mean?

From now on, when a new release for Core servers is launched, Basalte will no longer update your projects directly to the latest version. You now have the option to schedule the update in Pro Basalte Live and trigger the update in the Basalte app when you are ready. After one month, all Core servers will be updated automatically.

Pricing updates

This month the following companies have advised us of price increases that will take effect from 1st April 2023 on our website:

MDT: an average price increase of 4.4%

ABB: an average price increase of 5%

EAE: price increases of between 6.5 - 31.5%
